To request an urgent appointment for today (Monday to Friday):
- Use our online form. We check and respond to urgent requests within a few hours when we are open.
- Phone us on 01634 687200 during opening hours.
- Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist during opening hours.
When you get in touch, we will ask what you need help with.

We safely help as many patients as we can with urgent same-day needs but high demand can exceed availability some days. When this happens, we may be able to offer you an evening or Saturday appointment locally or signpost you to other appropriate services that can help you quickly.
Routine appointments for in the next 7 days
To request a routine appointment in the next 7 days:
- Use our online form. We aim to respond to routine requests within 48 hours when we are open.
- Use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App).
- Phone us on 01634 687200 during opening hours.
- Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist during opening hours.
When you get in touch, we will ask what you need help with.

We may be able to offer you an evening or Saturday appointment locally.
Cancel or change an appointment
To cancel your appointment:
- Use our admin request form and tell us you wish to cancel.
- Phone us on 01634 687200 during opening hours.
- Visit the surgery and let the receptionist know in person.
Please tell us as soon as possible if you no longer need your appointment, so we can offer your appointment to someone else and help reduce waiting times.
If you regularly miss booked appointments, you may be asked to find an alternative GP practice and removed from our practice list.
Help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111. NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Pharmacy- The Pharmacy First Service allows your local pharmacy to advise and prescribe for 7 common health conditions:
- impetigo (aged 1 year and over)
- infected insect bites (aged 1 year and over)
- earache (aged 1 to 17 years)
- sore throat (aged 5 years and over)
- sinusitis (aged 12 years and over)
- urinary tract infections (UTIs) (women aged 16 to 64 years)
- shingles (aged 18 years and over)

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and his or her life is at risk.
Help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- If there were a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional, you would prefer to respond.
- If you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by text or email.
- If you need an interpreter.
- If you have any other access or communication needs.
Home visits
Home visits are only available for housebound patients and for those too ill to attend the surgery. We will phone you first to understand what you need. To request a home visit, please phone the surgery as soon after 8am as possible or use our online form.
