Reception Team

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

Prescribing Team

The role of our prescribing team is to action incoming prescription requests and queries in a timely manner. They ensure patients have any necessary tests to enable their medication to be issued safely. The prescribing team also review letters and make any necessary amendments to the patients medication such as adding, replacing, adjusting or removing medications as per the instructions in clinical letters. They work closely with our clinical team to ensure accuracy and clinical safety.

Secretarial Team

Our Medical Secretarial Team provide professional support and assistance to medical staff by referring, scheduling and managing patient appointments and maintaining patients records. The team are there to support the clinicians in making sure patients are referred on the right pathway for whatever treatment or investigations they need.
